Our Pastor

Nathan has served as Lead Pastor at Friendship Church since October of 2012. He was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and then attended Mid America Christian University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma studying Pastoral Ministry. He met his wife Devon while he was serving as Student Pastor in Hamilton, Ohio, and they married on 7-7-07. They have served together in ministry ever since. They have been blessed with two exceptional children, Celia and Greyson. Celia is in the 6th grade and loves all things animals and loves to read books and write stories. Greyson is in the fifth grade and is caught up in the Star Wars Universe, Legos, and is a sports fanatic. Devon teaches fourth grade in Monterey and loves soccer, dance, and spending time with family at the Lake. She leads the Power Up kids ministry and serves on the worship team. Nathan’s hobbies are anything sports-related: being a fantasy sports junkie and a die-hard fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, Missouri Tigers, and Green Bay Packers. He has a passion to fish, though he would not consider himself a good fisherman. Nathan and Devon have a passion to help families with kids with special needs, as they are parents of a child on the spectrum as well. The Heady’s love Cookeville and feel very blessed to be able to lead and serve at Friendship Church for almost 10 years.
